As we grow older , hence wiser,  we slowly realize that wearing a Php30,000 or a Php3,000 watch ⌚ - - they both tell the same time. ⏰⌛ Whether we carry a Php3,000 or a Php300.00 wallet/handbag - - the amount of money inside is the same.  Whether we drink a bottle of Php300 or Php30 wine
- - the hangover is the same.  Whether the house we live in is 300 or 3,000 sq. ft. - - loneliness is the same.
You will realize, your true inner happiness does not come from the material things of this world.
Therefore, I hope you realize, when you have mates, buddies and old friends, brothers and sisters, who you chat with, laugh with, talk with, have sung songs with, talk about north-south-east-west or heaven and earth - - That is true happiness!! 

Visita Iglesia 2017

Visita Iglesia is a very popular catholic tradition here in my country, Philippines. This is usually done during Maundy Thursday. The faithful devotee visits seven (7) different churches with the aim to adore Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament found in the Altar of the Repose.

This year, I am fortunate enough to visit more than seven (7) churches here in my hometown, Davao City. I was able to offered my prayers to Him. It was worth the sacrifice especially if you are together with your family.

Here are snapshots of some of the churches with their holy altars of the repose that we visited:

First stop is the St. Francis of Assisi Maa Parish. I failed to get a picture of the adoration chapel.

Second, St. Paul in Juna Matina.

Third, San Pedro Cathedral.

Fourth, St. Jude Taddeus in Malvar Street.

Fifth, San Antonio de Padua in Agdao.

Sixth, Redemptorist Church in Bajada.

Seventh, Sacred Heart of Jesus in Obrero.

Eight, Sta. Ana Shrine in Sta. Ana avenue. I forgot to get pictures.

Lastly, Assumption Church in Torres Street.

One of the prayers I offered is the prayer from St. Alphonsus of Liguori. I just love this prayer.

"My Lord Jesus Christ,for the love which You bear to men, You remain night and day in this Sacrament full of compassion and of love, awaiting, calling, and welcoming all who come to visit You. I believe that You are present in the Sacrament of the Altar: I adore You from the abyss of my nothingness, and I thank You for all the graces which You have bestowed upon me and in particular for having given me Yourself in this Sacrament, for having given me your holy Mother Mary for my advocate, and for having called me to visit You in this chapel. I now salute Your most loving Heart: and this for three ends: 

In thanksgiving for this great gift; 

To make amends to You for all the outrages which You receive in this Sacrament from all Your enemies; 

I intend by this visit to adore You in all the places on earth in which You are the least revered and the most abandoned. 

My Jesus, I love You with all my heart. I grieve for having so many times offended Your infinite goodness. I promise with Your grace never more to offend You in the future. 

Now, miserable and unworthy though I be, I consecrate myself to You without reserve; 

I give You my entire will, my affections, my desires, and all that I possess. From now on dispose of me and of all that I have as You please. All that I ask of You and desire is Your holy love, final perseverance, and the perfect accomplishment of Your will. I recommend to You the souls in purgatory; but especially those who had the greatest devotion to the most Blessed Sacrament and to the Blessed Virgin Mary. I also recommend to You all poor sinners. 

My dear Saviour, I unite all my affections with the affections of Your most loving Heart; and I offer them, thus united, to Your eternal Father, and beseech Him in Your name to vouchsafe, for Your love, to accept them.  Amen."

It is not always that I have the chance to participate in all of the lenten activities in the church especially that my kids are still small. So far, this visitation has been my huge partipation in the church activities this year. I am looking forward to more happenings and participation in the coming days, months or years. When we die, our money remains in the bank... Yet, when we are alive, we don't have enough money to spend.In reality, when we are gone, there is still a lot of money not spent. One business tycoon in China passed away. His widow, left with $1.9 billion in the bank, married his chauffeur.His chauffeur said:-
"All the while, I thought I was working for my boss... it is only now, that I realise that my boss was all the time, working for me !!!"
The cruel reality is:
It is more important to live longer than to have more wealth. So, we must strive to have a strong and healthy body, It really doesn't matter who is working for who.
In a high end hand phone, 70% of the functions are useless!
For an expensive car, 70% of the speed and gadgets are not needed.
If you own a luxurious villa or mansion, 70% of the space is usually not used or occupied.
How about your wardrobes of clothes?
70% of them are not worn!
A whole life of work and earning...
70% is for other people to spend.
So, we must protect and make
full use of our 30%.
👉Go for medical check-ups even if not sick.
👉Drink more water, even if not thirsty.
👉Learn to let go, even if faced with
grave problems.
👉Endeavour to give in, even if you are in the right.
👉Remain humble, even if you are very rich and powerful.
👉learn to be contented, even if you are not rich.
👉Exercise your mind and body, even if you are very busy.
👉Make time for people you care about

Dear Woman,

Sometimes you’ll just be too much woman.

Pause For A Prayer
